PREDICT MEETINGS AT j LEXINGTON RACELAND j 1 It is certain now Lexington will have a spring meeting. The Kentucky legislature has granted the old association course there and the Dade Park track the relief in the way of the reduction of the daily license tax from ,500 to 00. How many days the Lexington people will ask for their spring meeting has not been fully decided as yet. Probably it will not be for more than ten days and more likely it will be only for seven days. In any event there will be a meeting at Lexington and with the tax cut ,000 daily, it looks as if the Blue Grass track will be enabled to keep out of the "red" this year. The story comes from Ashland and Cat-lettsburg that there will be an attempt made to give a summer meeting at Raceland, which will come under the same tax reduction basis as Lexington and Dade Park. The Raceland track is still intact and there is a possibility that a meeting of twelve or fifteen days could be successfully operated there if business improves to a state of normalcy by next summer.
