Won handily; second and third driving. SIR DEAN, never far from the leaders, came strongly in the stretch under hard urging and took tho lead in the final sixteenth. WIZARDRY came fast after entering the stretch and outlasted BAD BOY. The latter took a good lead when RELEASED tired on the stretch turn, but, although finishing gamely, was not good enough. ROYAL DOULTON saved ground in the stretch. ARCHY was weakly ridden. RELEASED opened up a long lead in the first half mile, but quit in the stretch.
