GOLDBLATTS RESERVATIONS Requests Twenty-Nine Stalls at Churchill Downs Expect First Shipment Next Week. LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 2. Mose Gold-blatt has reserved stable room at Churchill Downs for twenty-nine thoroughbreds he plans to campaign over the Kentucky and Illinois circuits during the 1932 season. His first consignment is due to arrive at the Downs next week. Superintendent Tom Young has renovated his stable, Barn K., and is now ready for the C. V. Whitney western contingent. The well-known older racers in Goldblatts charge include Gad-stick, Elysium, Matinee Girl, Malaita, Chene, Loop, Zoom, Tantivy, Blot, Jimmy Moran, Bargello, Jack B., Crazy Coot, Pollywog, Blow Fly, Bay Bloom, Panshala, Habanero, K. Russell, Smear, Chimney Sweep and Angry. There will be six two-year-olds in the entourage, but Goldblatt has not been apprised of their names to date. Goldblatt will not have a Derby candidate this year, although he will provide room in his stable for the care of Top Flight, being trained for the Kentucky race. Last year Equipoise occupied a box in Barn K. and while he was prevented from filling his engagement in the Derby he attracted more visitors than any horse which has been at the historic course for years. He had been extensively backed in the winter books and it was a great disappointment to his followers that he could not start. C. H. Ferguson, the Georgetown, Ky., turfman, has notified Mr. Young he will arrive at the Downs shortly with his stable comprising the useful racers Kentucky Ace, Major Blue, Majel and Fireflash. also the two-year-olds Threat, Meteoric, Fastidious and Bettina H.
