1 HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES | $ $ Trainer Max Hirsch returned from Jamaica to saddle M. L. Schwartz Gusto in the Buckingham Purse. Max put the Loma Stables Tick On aboard a railroad car Friday and sent him to the Downs, to be tightened up for the one mile and a quarter Derby, a week from Saturday. The following horses will be carried on the schooling list over to the Pimlico meeting: Arrow, Bagiel, Bokie B., Bally Bay, Chip, Easter Boy, Essare, Frigate Bird, Justa King, Jealous Fool, Lady Broadcast, Marmion, Make Believe, Pop Gaffney, Peep o Silk, Smoke Cloud, Single Kay, Shanette, Star Gold, Seymour, Squeeze Play, Tywink, Trellis, Wellet and Dunfern. H. D. Cox acquired of the Glen Riddle Farm the three-year-olds Captivity, by Eternal, and Happy Warrior, by Man o War. The transfer of the horses to Cox was part of the agreement entered into by Cox for the transfer of the jockey J. Gilbert to Samuel D. Riddle. Christopher J. Fitzgerald, who served in the stewards stand during the Fair Grounds meeting in New Orleans, was an interested spectator at Havre de Grace Saturday. Jack B. Campbell, another official who served in the stewards stand in the Crescent Cityt arrived to fulfill his duties as placing i judge during the meeting of the Maryland Jockey Club at Pimlico. Jack J.
