m REPORT OF FOAL ARRIVALS LEXINGTON. Ky.. April 30.— Uncles Lassie, dam of the 1929 Kentucky Derby winner, Clyde Van Dusen, Friday night foaled a chestnut filly, by Chatterton or Torchilla, at the Few Acres Farm of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Van Dusen. The mare and foal are the property of H. P. Gardner, who keeps his thoroughbred breeding stock at Few Acres and who now has his Derby-winning gelding turned out there. Mr. Gardner has expressed his intention of selling his present racing stable and retiring temporarily from the sport because of the pressure of business affairs. In all. eighteen foals have arrived at Few Acres this season Ten are the property of Mr. Gardiner. Two belong to H. C. Apple-gate, one to E. P. Applegate and five to Mr. Van Dusen. Most of them are by the young stallion Torchilla, son of imported Torch-bearer, fiom Chilla, by imported Alvescot. Torchbearer, a son of Radium, has his last foal in the crop, a brown colt from Miss Watters. Centime, by Cudgel, foaled a bay colt by the dead Master Charlie at the Allendale Farm of Jere Tarlton. Otto W. Lehmanns Long Lashes, by Infinite, foaled a black colt by Sun Flag at Charlton Clays Marchmont Stud, Paris, Ky., and will be bred to Harpenden. »__
