The latter came through on the inside entering the stretch and finished gamely. MARPLOT challenged gamely, but tired at the end. BILLY BLAKE pulled up lame. THE CRANE was shuffled back at the half mile post. WHAT HAVE YOU, closest to the early leaders, quit under pressure. PRINCE PEST and ALCANALE were outrun. QUEL JEU. fractious at the post, was placed outside the stalls, moved up resolutely, but swerved to the inside when hard urged at the eighth post. PUCHERO showed early speed. GLORIFY raced well.
