V t BELMONT TURF NOTES | s i Trainer Fred Hopkins stated that Equipoise would be pointed for the Metropolitan Handicap, which is his next engagement. James Fitzsimmons shipped the Belair Studs Lady Diver to the Belair Farm, where she will be turned out until the fall. Jockey H. Mills has been granted permission to accept outside mounts in two-year-old races by his contract employer. Willis Sharpe Kilmer was an arrival from Remlick Hall, and will stay for the Belmont Park meeting. Clipper Ship, owned by the Greentree Stable, was withdrawn from the Keene Memorial. The colt developed a slight temperature this morning. Jockey Laverne Fator accepted his first mount of the eastern season. A carload of horses owned by W. J. Ziegler is expected from the farm at Belmont Park Monday. A carload of horses owned by A. Walker and J. H. Stotler leaves for Bainbridge Park Tuesday.
