PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES j $ $ John Youcum, manager of the express traffic for the Pennsylvania Railroad, came over from Philadelphia to arrange for the shipment of forty carloads of horses which are being shipped from here to various points. Four carloads will pull out for Toronto Monday and five more on Tuesday. A special will leave Tuesday for Chicago, and on May 16 three carloads attached to the Liberty Limited for Chicago will leave with j the Audley Farm horses from Berryville, Va. J. I. Smith is shipping nine of the H. Teller Archibald horses to Toronto Tuesday. Selby Burch came over from Belmont Park to help Brother Preston root for Boatswain in the Preakness. John Turner is leaving here the latter part of next week for Canada. Turner will act as racing secretary at the Thorncliffe, Hamilton and Devonshire meetings. Pierce, who has been riding in Ohio, wired that he will arrive in Hagerstown Sunday and would ride at 112 pounds.
