NOAHS PRIDE was away rather slowly and was in close quarters early, but went to the outside of the leaders in the stretch and wore them down to win going away. ANDORA raced into contention early and, taking a short lead near the end, held on fairly well. TANTALIZING showed early speed and raced gamely despite being crowded in the stretch. QUORUM took the lead at once and, racing well, was never overtaken, although forced to do his best at the end to withstand the challenge of HALLIARD. The latter, close up throughout, finished gamely under urging. ALBAZANO began slowly, but raced into contention on the inside and was a factor in the late stages. HARMONICAL showed early speed. OUTER HARBOR could not keep up and seems to prefer soft going. NELL KUHLMAN was outpaced.
