TABBBY drew into a good lead quickly in the closing quarter and maintained good speed to the end. BAGGAGE MISS, close up, lost ground on the turn, but could not overhaul the winner. PROUD PRINCESS lost some eround, but finished well. STIMOWAY closed fast. THREE BEES, a factor from the start, was taken up when BRIGHT EMBLEM fell in the stretch. SOEUR BLANCHE also was eased up for the same reason. BRIGHT EMBLEM was moving up fast when she fell near the last eighth post. ELKHART, away slowly but never far out of it. moved up slowly on the outside on the turn, quickly disposed of UFORME and, drawing into a long lead, tired, yet lasted. ABE FURST, under restraint for the first half mile, closed gamelv. PERFECT MODEL went to the outside on the stretch turn and withstood urging gamelv. FLYING CHEROKEE was going fastest of all at the end. MAID OF HONOR dropped out of it after going a half mile. MENDELL closed a gap in the stretch. SALLY IRENE quit. BIG BUSINESS saved much ground moving up on the turn, responded well and, wearing down TOWN LIMIT, outlasted UNCLE HENRY. The latter saved much ground after dropping back near the last eighth and finished eamely. TOWN LIMIT was well rated in the lead, but bore out when tiring. THE WIDOWER finished fastest of all. KING COMMANDER, fractious at the post, showed early speed. LADY WITT quit badlv. DICK MORRIS, fractious at the post and taken to the outside of the machine, refused to start. GLORITONE, much used at the post and away slowly, raced very wide on the first turn, but held on well in a eood performance. CHUCK B. lost ground. BOSTON WATERS was on the inside most of the way. AUF WIEDERSEHN could not keep up. JUST UMBER, placed on the outside at the start, began slowly. COAST PATROL unseated his rider and cantered a mile before the start. COLD CHECK, hard ridden in the losing three eighths, held the lead briefly near the Final eighth, but was no match for the winner. HOOPS was on the inside almost throuehout and tired. The latter, taken into the lead, set the early pace, but was not good enoueh. MAJEL moved up fast on the outside entering the stretch and withstood the final drive eamely. LADY GIBSON closed resolutely on the outside. CHUM began very slowly. KING PIN could not get up. STAR PLAY had to lose ground and quit. GIBBYS CHOICE showed earlv speed. EL PUMA, away slowly and far back for half a mile, moved up fast on the outside thereafter, wore down NOELWOOD and SANDWRACK before reaching the final eighth and won easily thereafter. SANDWRACK, under restraint for five-eighths, responded well, but was not good enough. BRUSH DOWN, probably best and slow to eet goine, was crowded back on the stretch turn, but closed with a rush. BLOW FLY tired in the stretch. NOELWOOD quit badly. BRIGHT MOON showed early speed.
