WAR GENERAL came from far back and finished with a rush. TRICKYS SON saved ground on the stretch turn. MORLOVE set a fast pace, but went wide on the stretch turn. PRINCE WESTEND moved up on the inside leaving the back stretch. RATTLESNAKE TOM bore out on the stretch turn. CARYLDON moved up fast on the outside in the stretch and failed to last. SABINA H. saved ground on the last turn and outlasted BURTON AGNES. The latter raced close up, but tired. MONTANARO showed good speed,-was rated along under slight restraint, held on well, but Was not good enough for the winner. GUN MAN was unable to reach the first two after lacking early speed. SHAWNEE was never a factor. BLIND LUCK lost ground at the -first turn. .
