SPRINTERS IN LAST FEATURE Hygro, Siskin and Four Others Go in Sprint Championship at Hawthorne Today. CICERO, 111., Sept. 1. The twenty-nine-day meeting of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association at popular Hawthorne concludes tomorrow with the running of a fine program, featuring the ,000 Sprint Championship, at weight-for-age, and in which such speedsters as Siskin, Risque, Gallant Sir, Hygro, Polydorus and Pairby-pair will clash at six and one-half furlongs. This race promises to result in one of the most interesting contests of the meeting and, along with testing the speed of the contestants, it will measure their ability to carry weight, the minimum impost being 125 pounds and the maximum 130 pounds. This latter weight will be carried by the older Siskin and Polydorus, while the filly, Risque, will have up 127 pounds and the three-year-olds, Gallant Sir, Hygro and Pairbypair, 125 pounds each. In support of the feature, racing secretary Joseph McLennan is bringing together a number of well matched fields, particularly those meeting in the sixth, seventh and eighth events, for platers suited by a route of ground. Barring rain the racing strip may be at its best "for the closing day and this should prove an important factor in bringing the successful meeting to a brilliant close. For the final day there will be no change in post time, the field for the opening race reaching the barrier at 2:15 oclock. The field for the Sprint Championship will line up as follows: PP. Horse.
