Frank Catrone leaves for Syracuse, where he will ride for Frank Kraft during that meeting. Marshall Cassidy will leave for Blue Bonnets, where he will officiate at the barrier opening day, later returning to Syracuse for that meeting. Trainer J. Simon Healy states that J. J. Curtis Flying Heels is- galloping steadily after recovering from his lameness of last serins:.
