1 SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES : Trainers J. J. "Mahoney, R. T. Watts and F. Merimee were fined 0 each for changing equipment without permission of the stewards. So great was the demand to run in the third race Thursday that eighty-one horses were excluded. The following trainers obtained licenses: T. Spencer, K. S. Cleveland, H. Cowgill and R. H. Haney. Jockey Joe Cavens was the only jockey applicant, and he was given permission to ride. For disorderly conduct and abusing the custodian of the jockeys quarters, trainer Paul Sanfords license was revoked, and the entries of his horses refused. Apprentice A. C. Coffman had his first mount of the meeting 7hen he rode Noel Blaze in the second race Tuesday. The youngster is under contract to S. L. Grieves and can do a hundred pounds. Jockey M. Harrison has been suspended for five days for rough riding while astride Jane Boggess in the second race Wednesday. Jockey M. Dupuy has been suspended for five days for rough riding in the third race. Elmer Johnson claimed Bay Rose out of tie third race at Sportsmans Park Wednesday for ,000. .
