INFANTA sprinted to the front soon after the start, was taken in hand when JOHN MILL went to the front and, responding gamely when hard urged, took the lead in the stretch and won under pressure. GOLFLEX, close up throughout, closed gamely, but could not overtake the winner. JOHN MILL took the lead with ease, but gave way suddenly after seven-eighths. ADSUM was never a serious factor. The latter, outrun to the stretch, closed strongly and would probably have won in another stride. GO EASY raced evenly. JANE BOGGESS, hard urged from the start, saved much ground on the first turn, raced into the lead, but gave way under punishment. CATWALK was outrun. CONCISUS was taken back repeatedly. LOVERS CHAT, in close quarters soon after the start, failed to be a factor.
