LATONIA TURF NOTES I $ s Among licenses granted Wednesday were the following: H. B. Reether, L. Fischer, R. O. Higdon, J. G. Anger and A. Keaton, trainers; F. Hernandez and J. Futrell, jockeys. Hernandez, a native of Havana, is with J. J. Keith. R. Christensen, apprentice under engagement to R. W. Pearce, was an addition to the riding colony. Charles Koerner, well known horseman, came in from Missouri in search of several horses suitable for winter campaigning. The older Chorister, Captains Daughter and Mavro, campaigned at the Cleveland meetings, were unloaded here by H. B. Reether. William Martin is preparing W. E. Charles Sun Gros for his engagement in the Spalding Lowe Jenkins Handicap and the unsexed son of Sun Flag will be shipped to Laurel the first of the week. George Keeton arrived from Fairmount Park with Mrs. A. Burketts Making Bubbles and his own Fort Worth. Mrs. B. Greens Itso arrived from Cran-wood and was turned over to E. C. Hansel to train. D. T. Watts vanned the two-year-olds Van Law, Vendome, Violator and King Beauty from his farm near Lexington and turned them over to William Westerfield to train. Before departing from Fairmount Park, R. O. Higdon purchased from the estate of J. H. Edwards the plater Cash Play, which with Nisia, Elmega and Prisonet comprised the shipment Higdon arrived with from that track.
