MADDEN MARES GO ON BLOCK i Every Mare in Foal .at Hamburg i Place for Sale. ! i Splendid Band of Matrons Offered With flawless Bloodlines Lexington Sale Is Scheduled for Next Week. LATONIA, Ky., Nov. 11. One of the outstanding consignments in next weeks sale at the Lexington sales paddocks is the twenty-two mares from the world famous Hamburg Place. Arrangements for the sale of these mares were completed prior to the lamentable death of Joseph M. Madden, who, :of course, was jointly interested with his brother, John Edward Madden, in the thoroughbreds at Hamburg Place. This consignment consists of every mare at Hamburg Place that is in foal, those not in foal being retained, and these will be sold at a future date. Every mare in the consignment is to be. sold without reserve, not one will return to Hamburg Place. It can be stated without equivocation that no finer lot of mares has been offered for sale in years. Their bloodlines are flawless, their individuality should suit the most exacting, and they are all in foal to leading sires. Muriel von Der, b. m, 12, by Hessian Typist, by imp. Star Shoot.
