HE """"" Ij i More Than Usual Interest Displayed in Opening of Popular Montreal Course. MONTREAL, Que., June 2. The Montreal Jockey Club will inaugurate tomorrow its first meeting of 1933 over the Blue Bonnets course to continue for seven days. Never in its long history has there been a more marked interest in the opening than that which now prevails at the present time. Turfmen and followers of the sport have been congregating here for the past several days, and the opening promises to far eclipse any inaugural in the long existence of the Montreal Jockey Club. Capacity fields in all events prevailed, and in the feature, the Kindergarten Stakes, thirteen have been named, bringing together the best two-year-olds in Quebec. The companion feature, the Blue Bonnets Handicap, attracted a field of eight. Golden Fairy has been allotted the top weight of 118 pounds, while Mrs. W. H. Denhams Bubola is asked to shoulder 116 pounds, with F. Serembas Anne L.s 109 pounds next in line. When Montreal racing patrons again visit the Blue Bonnets course at the opening of the meeting tomorrow, they will find everything in order for their convenience, as manager Leo F. Dandurand has left nothing undone in preparing this old and beautiful course. The official family follows: Stewards E. C. St. Pere, M. P.; A La-berge and Julius G. Reeder, representing the Province of Quebec Racing Association. Judges E. W. Ferguson, W. J. Morrison. Placing judges L. R. Doyle, L. A. Larivee. Paddock and patrol judge M. Grant. Clerk of the scales L. R. Doyle. Starter Thomas j Rowe. Racing secretary Julius G. Reeder. .
