HTs, Iseult, Barn Swallow and HPHisy Day in Long Training Gal-r lops at Belmont Park. NEW YORK, N. Y., June 2. James Fitz-simmons took a pair of Wheatley Stables Coaching Club American Oaks eligibles from Aqueduct to Belmont Park this morning and they had an excellent trial for that filly prize to be decided next Friday. They were Iseult and Edelweiss, and they went along together for a mile and a quarter and Edelweiss showed the better move when she went the distance in 2:08, while Iseult finished the route in 2:11. These fillies went along together for a mile in 1:41, where Edelweiss drew away to finish out as has been told. Another of the Oaks eligibles that was tried out during the morning was Easy Day, from the Greentree Stable. William Bren-Knan permitted this miss to go along for a Knile and a quarter in 2:09. The fractions Jwere :47, 1:13, 1:41, 1:55 and 2:09. Barn Swallow, winner of the Kentucky Oaks and a promising candidate for the Coaching Club American Oaks, was given a public trial for that race after the second race this afternoon. She was tested over the mile and a quarter distance and turned in a good effort. The miss negotiated the distance in 2:06 and at no stage of the journey was she hustled along. The fractional time was even throughout as follows: :13, :25. :37, :49, 1:01, 1:13, 1:26, 1:38, 1:52 and 2:06.
