LOU SMITH EXPECTED HERE Lou Smith,-general manager of the Rockingham Park track, Salem, N. H., was expected in Chicago Friday. He is coming, via plane, from Houston, Tex., where he is interested in a new track to be built near that city. Smith, while in Chicago, will visit Hawthorne in the interest of the coming fall meeting at Rockingham Park. J. R. Bennett is doing missionary work among the horsemen, seeking the stars for proposed attractions at Salem.
