MURPHY TANFORAN STOCK SOLD ST LOUIS Mo May 7 Joseph A Mur ¬ phy who is spending a few days with his 3 family here today announced that he had sold his stock in the Tanforan track at San 1 Francisco The sale was made through Ed ¬ win McKenzie attorney for the association and judge Murphy was not notifed who the 5 purchaser was aside from that he was a 1 friend of J W Marchbank majority holder r of the stock Except for a small block of f stock owned by Ralph MacArthur this pur ¬ chase gives Mr Marchbank practical owner ¬ ship of the property
