1 DETROIT TURF NOTES ! S Goerge Woolf has been engaged to ride Curtis Kings Phildia in the Hamtramck j Stakes next Saturday. The son of Philip worked five-eighths in 1:01%, driving. A. J. Abel made a flying trip to H. Bowes farm in Virginia during the week-end. Abel went there to inspect a daughter of Black Watch which will be shipped to him here.
