1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES | 1 A notice was posted in the secretarys office announcing the suspension of A. G. Marchant and jockey L. Pikor for the use of sharp spurs on Newton Belle in the seventh race Saturday. Trainer W. Irvine returned to Rockingham Park after spending several days inspecting the stock at the Holly Beach Farm of his employer, S. W. Labrot at Annapolis, Md. Henry McDaniel shipped the division of the W. S. Kilmer string that has been racing at Rockingham to Saratoga Sunday. W. Porter, agent for the stable, also departed for the spa. Elmer Trueman shipped the string he has been campaigning at Rockingham Park to the farm at Laurel, with the exception of Grace Blotter and the crack juvenil* Wise Prince. The latter pair was left in charge of W. G. Merion. Shelby Burch was an arrival from New York with Thursday and the three-year-old Friar Mark. The plater Vote stumbled and unseated his exercise boy Monday morning and ran away for more than a mile. C. P. Winfrey has taken over the juvenile Lady Adair to train for Henry Campbell. Wood F. Axton, Kentucky patron, was an arrival. He has an extensive string quartered at the course in charge of trainer D. T. Morris. Condition books for the Narragansett Park meeting were distributed among the horsemen at Rockingham Park Monday afternoon. Al Munn, former superintendent at Hia-leah and Tampa Downs, Florida, arrived for a visit. Mr. Mun is doing advance work for the Grand Circuit meeting which starts here immediately following the close of the present session.
