HIDDEN DUST sprinted to a long lead at once, tired after reaching the stretch, but held TEMPLETON safe. The latter forced the pace under good urging, gave way to DOKAS near the stretch, but came again in the drive. DOKAS was a strong factor throughout and was best of the others. The latter was hustled into the lead, held command under strong urging and tired in the closing three sixteenths. LENAWEE, slow to start, saved ground and was much the best of the others. GERTRUDE S. closed a gap in the stretch. BLACK BABBLE finished with a rush. BELL MAN was outrun. TUMBLE IN quit. JANE HASTINGS unseated her rider at the start and caused interference.
