1 REMILLARD STAMFORD STAR I Rider Scores Another Triple at Niagara Falls Track — Mae bee Accounts for Feature Contest. NIAGARA FALLS, Ont, July 23.— G. W. Browns swift running four-year-old filly, Maebee, was winner of the best offering 1 on a card entirely given over to platers at the Stamford Park course of the Belleville i Driving and Athletic Association here today. j Meeting the speed of six others of good f grade and consistency, the winners triumph • j came in the fourth race, which saw the winning streak of Wooly West brought to an end after three successive victories. The feature also established another triple riding record for P. Remillard, the second within the space of a week. Remillard rode Becautious, winner of the opening race and Kings Bounty in the third, which was followed by the success of Maebee. In all of his riding feats Remillard rode with bril-1 liance and his exhibition of horsemanship was heartily applauded. 1 In the best offering, which was under ■ claiming conditions, some delay was experienced before starter Rowe could find a suitable alignment Steel was first to leave while the others with the exception of the favorite, Wooly West, were away in good order. At the start, Wooly West went into the air and before he landed on terra firma, all had beaten him away. Protractor set the pace while Canny Scot and Bubbling Out followed close up. On the turn for home there was a general spreading of the field and this afforded Wooly West an opportun- ity to gain a forward position. Maebee had supplanted both Protractor and Canny Scot I and once in front Remillard took no chances j and rode his mount out to have him vic-I torious by a length and one half. Wooly 1 West was second and Talomond third. I
