CHANGE IN OTTAWA DATES Connaught Park Meeting to Begin on August 11 and End Satur ¬ day August 18 MONTREAL Que July 26 It was defi ¬ nitely announced at Kings Park today that the fall race meeting of the Connaught Park Jockey Club would take place at the Ot ¬ tawa Jockey Club plant from Saturday Au ¬ gust 11 to Saturday August 18 This meet ¬ ing was originally scheduled to be run from August 6 to August 13 but the change in the dates has been approved by the Province of Quebec Racing Association The Kings Park meeting closes a week from next Mon ¬ day so there will be only five days interven ¬ ing between the windup at Kings Park and the opening at Ottawa OttawaOver Over 200 horses have already been booked for the Connaught Park meeting Practi ¬ cally all the owners now at Kings Park will ship to Connaught Park and there will be additional horses for the Ottawa meeting from Fort Erie Niagara Falls and other points pointsThe The Province of Quebec Racing Associa ¬ tion has arranged to ship all the horses from Montreal to Ottawa and they will leave on special trains via the Canadian Pacific Rail ¬ way Horsemen wishing to make stable reservations for the Ottawa meeting may do so through S W J Morrison at Kings Park The book of conditions will be dis j tributed at Kings Park next week The I running of the Connaught Cup Handicap on Saturday August 11 will be one of the fea ¬ tures of the Connaught Park meeting
