1 ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES : F. J. Estes is shipping Attraction, Vignolas Bud and Emery to Alamo Downs, and H. C. Russell is taking the others of the Estes stable to Detroit. Estes has Closing Event and Lovely Amelia quartered at the San Antonio track. Steward Herman P. Conkling left for Havre de Grace, where he is a member of the official family. He returns to Texas to serve as steward at Alamo .Downs. Amos Wallin, who handles the main division of the W. C. Goodloe stable, is a visitor from Churchill Downs, where he has sixteen horses in training. H. Woolfe has twelve horses here for Goodloe and Wallin. Waldo Freedman, trainer of the Fishburn stable, will take Liz F., Suncircle Blaze and Brown Molasses to Churchill Downs. Liz F. is eligible for the Bashford Manor Stakes. Danny Lauder will have five of the Fishburn horses at Fair Park, and W. Wheeling is taking three head to Alamo Downs. Clarence Davison has arranged to transfer his large stable to Aurora at the close of this meeting. Apprentice Paul Keester, who has ridden seventy-eight winners this year, goes along with the stable. H. C. Riddle received word from Alexander B. Gordon to remain at Arlington Downs until the close of the meeting. Riddle had arranged to ship to Jamaica Monday, but inclement weather in the East "caused a switch in the plans. William Hinphy has applied for stalls at Churchill Downs.
