1 HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES $ : : s Charlie Kurtsinger, who was aboard the Greentree Stables Twenty Grand when that horse set the time record of 2:01 in winning the 1931 Kentucky Derby, is here with trainer Walter Taylor, who is prepping Mrs. Silas B. Masons Head Play for the ,500 Philadelphia April 27. Among the trainers with strings on the tracks Monday morning were: George Conway, Preston Burch, T. J. Healey, George Tappen, Walter Taylor, Bill Hurley, Jimmy Stewart, Tobe Trotter, Emmett Potts, Charlie Meister, Max Smart, Dion Kerr and Harry Baker.
