LATONIA TURF NOTES Judge C W Hay popular racing official arrived here Friday and will do missionary work in the interest of the impending Haw ¬ thorne meeting The congenial official re ¬ ports eight fine looking yearlings at his breeding establishment at Frankfort Ky The octet are by Judge Hay There are six colts and two firie fillies in the lot lotEdward Edward Trotter who brought Isaiah here to fill his engagement in the Quickstep Sat ¬ urday also brought Judge Leer and Foggy Night Trotter entered all three horses Sat ¬ urday The trio will be returned to Wash ¬ ington Park after filling their engagements engagementsJockey Jockey J McCoy and apprentice Willie Farrell were additions to the jockey colony at Latonia The former came from Canada while Farrell drove down from Beulah Park C M Colvin is another rider that plans to ply his trade here having checked in from Chicago ChicagoThrough Through error it was stated that trainer R Mephan took the horses Mad Career and Gnomnie to Bainbridge Instead he turned them over to R Reeves to train for Mrs A Maier MaierSilent Silent Joe Buscher arrived from Colum ¬ bus with the threeyearold filly Lucky Turn He will stay here for the remainder of the meeting
