FINALE AT RIVERSIDE PARK Thirty-One Day Successful Meeting at Kansas City Ends With Saturdays Program. KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 22.— One of the most successful meetings ever held here came to a close this afternoon when the Riverside Jockey Club concluded its spring meeting of thirty-one days. Despite the adverse weather conditions that prevailed for most of the meeting, racing was very form-ful and a large percentage of favorites finished in front. For the closing day racing secretary M. H. Morrison arranged an attractive program of eight races, with seven being at one mile or over, and capacity fields paraded to the post in most of the races. Ideal weather conditions prevailed for the closing day and the track was at its best for the first time during the session. A crowd that compared favorably with the record-breaking attendance of Memorial Day was on hand when the horses paraded to the post for the initial race.
