HAY TO PRESIDE AT ALAMO HOMEWOOD, 111., June 22.— While at Washington Park Saturday Raymond Russell, head of Alamo Downs, Inc., engaged judge C. W. Hay to serve as presiding steward during the Alamo Downs meeting opening on January 1. Judge Hay recently was named general manager of the Hawthorne track and formerly held a similar office at Washington Park. He has served as steward at many leading tracks, including those in Kentucky, several of the Chicago tracks and at a number of the winter courses.
