1 DETROIT TURF NOTES i — ;— s The horses W. H. Bringloe brought here for H. C. Hatch are Projectile, Shepherd Boy, Benita II., Laurel Wreath, Inherit.Up-permost, Beefsteak and Pokeaway. Jockey Eddie Barnes has entered the employ of the Bomar Stable and will do the heavyweight riding for the stable. Before returning to Chicago, Benny Creech, who holds the contract on apprentice Charles Stevenson, refused several flattering offers for the lads contract. Emmett Potts, trainer of the Bomar Stable, is sending that stable to Arlington Park after the close of this meeting. Grand Slam and Night Play are nominated for the two-year-old stakes to be offered during that meeting. Harry S. Hart received word that stalls had been allotted at Arlington Park for the Leo J. Marks stable. Hart is taking eighteen head, and the others of his stable will be sent to Canada in charge of Dave Boyle.
