TWEEDY showed good speed in the fooling, saved ground wherever possible and continued with good energy when the real test came. TAP ON, a strong factor all the way, continued stoutly under a furious drive. TIDY LADY was in the thick of contention all the way and was easily best of the others. The latter, badly outrun for a half mile, swung to the outside when bettering her position and finished with a bold rush. PARVA STELLA broke fast, was rated in front until challenged, permitted the winner to come through on the inside entering the home stretch, then tired under stout urging. BALLY BAY forced a steady pace for five-eighths, but tired in the final drive. BUDDY BOO was unable to engage the leaders. JOBAKHETA had no excuse. TIGHT WAD broke very slowly and was never a factor.
