GIN DAISY, away slowly and forced to race wide to reach the lead, responded well entering the stretch, swerved during the final eighth, but won with something to spare. ROBERT L. came over sharply at. the far turn, forced the pace under strong urging, was forced wide when the winner swerved in the stretch, and tired near the end. BROWN PRODIGY, away slowly and outrun early, was sent to the inside at the stretch turn, but tired after offering a mild bid approaching the final eighth. ANCESTRAL, away fastest of all but shuffled back at the far turn, moved up fast in the stretch and finished strongly. PANSY ANN made up ground. LINLACE raced wide. PRAIRIE BELL quit. RUSTIC LASSIE, away slowly and unable to improve her early position, responded fast in the drive, va sent to the outside of the leaders and outfinished BRONC RIDER. The latter, under strong handling from the start, was driven through the field when improving his position, forged to the front in the last strides, but failed to withstand the winner. ABLE ABE, well up from the start but pinched back at the far turn, came again in the final eighth and was wearing down the winner at the end. IMPERIAL MARYAN, away slowly, moved up fast after racing three eighths, came over on LA JUNTA WHITE when -reaching" the stretch, but tired rapidly in the last stages. LA JUNTA WHITE took command at once, gave way to BRIGADE B., came again approaching the final quarter and was pinched back when tiring. ELAN AC tired. MOKENA showed nothing. BARRETTE made up ground. WHISKING worked his way foiward steadily, saved ground throughout and finished strongly. INDIANTOWN, racing in his best form and well up from the start, bore out entering the stretch and tired. ALWAYS BLUE, forced to lose ground throughout, finished strongly. MY DAINTY, well up from the start, was pinched :back at the far turn, but came strongly when clear.
