PLANS FOR INDIAN BROOM SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 13. Indian Broom, the flashy three-year-old, which made turf history by his sensational mile and one-eighth race in the Marchbank Handicap Saturday, will leave for Kentucky April 20. The son of Brooms, which many believe will make things interesting for Brevity, Hollyrood and the other three-year-old stars entered in the famous Churchill j Downs race will travel east without equine companions. Trainer Darrell Cannon will go jwith the horse and will give him but a couple of blowouts and one mile and a quarter work before the running of the Kentucky Derby. Indian Broom came out of his Marchbank Handicap race in fine condition, and Cannon and owner Major Taylor are confident that he will give a good account of himself in the Derby. Following the running of the Kentucky Derby, Indian Broom may remain in the East to fill other engagements, and Special Agent, Prank and other stars in the Taylor stable may be sent back to join him.
