SANGREAL COMPLETES TRIPLE Texas Fans and Mrs. Ethel Mars Given Treat When Sangreal Threatens Track Mark. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 13. The crowd of 15,000 or more patrons received a treat here Saturday when Sangreal, another Texas and Kentucky Derby eligible from Mrs. Ethel V. Mars Milky Way Farms, completed a triple for jockey A. Robertson and the Chicago-owned establishment by accounting for the David Crockett Handicap, that was decided over six furlongs as the sixth event. Speedy over the distance in 1:11 and within a second of the track record, Sangreal which carried equal impost of 108 pounds with West Main and one less than the top weighted Wise Daughter, reached the finish well in hand and slightly more than a length before West Main, which led Three Ds Head-liner by two lengths, for second. Reaping saved fourth from Fickle Chance, Wise Daughter a stablemate of the winner and Grand Rock, which began from outside of the stalls. Robertson rode a splendid race. He saved the son of Sir Gallahad III., when Headliner and Wise Daughter went out to show the way and skimming the rail with the winner, sent him to the outside of Headliner, entering the stretch. Soon afterwards, Sangreal took command and after drawing away was placed under steady restraint. He was worked out the seven furlongs in 1:25. Outrun for three furlongs, West Main caught the leaders in splendid fashion and although he failed to menace the winner, he was much the best of others. When Sangreal moved into contention, Wise Daughter gave way and Reaping, which was forced to lose ground throughout, tired in the drive. It was a great day for Teddy. Bull Dog, one of his sons, furnished Dogaway and The Fighter and Sir Gallahad III., is also a renowned son of the illustrious sire. Sangreal was a 37 to 20 choice.
