I LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES j s ; A full brother to Wacoche, a colt by Bright Knight and fillies by Strolling Player and St. Henry are two-year-olds William Crump is training for Audley Farm. He also has the three-year-old Captain Byam for the same establishment, seven for Wil-lard Wilson of Nashville and two owned by Mrs. Crump. E. D. Axton, brother of the late W. F. Axton, was at Churchill Downs Sunday to see two Bashford Manor Stakes eligibles which were bred by his late brother. They are Five Sisters and Tobacco Buyer, which now are owned by H. Friedberg. Mort Shaw, supervisor of pari-mutuels and the totalizator departments at Santa Anita, Arlington Park and other tracks, was a visitor here over the week-end and while here made a trip out to the Downs. Among the well-balanced stables at Douglas Park is that of C. W. Moore, Lexington turfman, who has seven head. Besides the two-year-old Air Pocket, a daughter of Ariel, the string includes such useful performers as Method, Assist, Forgive, Katy, What Way and Polite Ann.
