I CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES h $ : 4 Headed by Erin Torch, another strong western-owned candidate for the Kentucky Derby, the Dixiana stable of Charles T. Fisher, of Detroit, is scheduled to arrive at Churchill Downs on April 17. There are to be twenty in the string and accompanying it will be Charley Stevenson, who headed the American jockey list last year. Clyde Van Dusen, who trains the Dixiana horses, saddled the winner of the 1929 Derby, Clyde Van Dusen, which was named for the trainer. This stable also has made liberal nominations to the Bashford Manor Stakes, the Kentucky Oaks and the Clark Handicap, other spring Downs features. Rearranging his stable, John Goode, who is training the horses of J. W. Parrish, has sent Duetime and Cogartown back to the Parrish farm at Midway, Ky. Those which he is preparing for Downs racing are the two-year-olds Proph, Perlette, Dehor, Bo-hannon and Threems and the older Johnny Tight, Entree, Tenace and Grey Nose.
