FORTUITY displayed speed from the start, drew into a good lead and was never menaced, winning with speed in reserve. LITTLE AUDREY, hard hustled from the start, made a bold bid to reach the lead, was not good enough, but continued determinedly to the close. UNFURL displayed good speed to join into contention and continued with good energy to the end. OPOCA closed some ground, but was never able to endanger the leaders. LADY MILLY raced evenly throughout. AL CARLYS had early speed, dropped back after the first quarter, but came stoutly through the stretch when too late. He should improve over this performance. LA CHARITE dropped back soon after the start, moved up steadily thereafter and, despite hard riding, was unable to reach the leaders. OFFICE BOY came with good energy in the last quarter mile. MISS SUBWAY, well placed for the first half mile, was unable to keep up thereafter. KEOKEE was hard ridden all the wav. BAY BUDDY was far back throughout. Scratched— 25818 Airy Heiress, 100. FAKE was restrained off the early pace, moved up stoutly nearing the stretch, overhauled JIM CRAWFORD when called upon and held sway to the end. JIM CRAWFORD displayed speed from the start, withstood determined early opposition from EDDIE HELCK and, despite holding on gamely, was unable to stave off the bid of the winner. EDDIE HELCK was prominently placed throughout. MADERIS, well up and under hard urging, held on willingly to the close. ZULU LAD. outpaced early, was unable to reach the leaders. COYA came stoutly through the stretch. EL CONTENTO was never a factor. NEED, unruly at the post threw his rider and it was necessary to make a substitution. He was never a factor. JACKFULL, in the first flight all the way, gained a slight lead when reaching the stretch and fought it out willingly to the end. GOLDEN KEY, prominently placed all the way, tired slightly in the closing drive. SONGSTONE, away fast, lacked speed to keep pace, but came again through the stretch.
