AZUCAR IS TOP WEIGHT | FOR WOLVERINE HANDICAP i I DETROIT, Mich., May 21.— Azucar, winner of the first running of the Santa Anita Handicap, was assigned the top weight of 122 pounds for Saturdays renewal of the ,000 added Wolverine Handicap, Fred M. Algerg locally-owned eight-year-old will carry three pounds more than E. F. Seagrams Stand Pat and eight more pounds than Sablin, a stablemate of Stand Pat. Marynell, winner of the Frontier and Centennial Exposition Handicaps, was allotted 112 pounds, and Dark Winter comes next under 109 pounds. Grand Slam, hope of the Bomar Stable for Detroit Derby honors, and Billy Bee, a stablemate, will tote 106 pounds each.
