BASHF0RD MANORS BIG ARRAY OF ENTRIES LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 12. The Bash-ford Manor Stakes, with thirty-five years of history behind it, is the principal race for two-year-olds during the spring meeting at Churchill Downs, opening May 1, and owners of youngsters and racing fans alike are looking forward to it eagerly. With few exceptions, winners of the Bashford Manor, a five furlongs dash, for a ,000 added purse, have become turf stars, and it goes without saying that the victor this spring will be accorded all tbe respect due captors of so important a prize. Nominations to the stake closed on February 15, with the entry of 142 youngsters, many of them royally bred, and not a few purchased at fancy figures. The Milky Way Farm, owner of Murph, has nominated eight for this years running, while among other liberal subscribers to the ,000 fixture are the Millsdale Stable, J. C. Ellis, Greentree Stable, Maemere Farm, J.W. Parrish, Three Ds Stock Farm, Valdina Farms, Morris Vehon, O. F. Woodward and Mrs. W. H. Furst
