COURTESY TO RACE FANS FANSWATCHWORD WATCHWORD AT DETROIT DETROIT Mich May 27 The average fan that visits a race track does not believe when he purchases an admittance ticket and later selects a reserved or box seat there is a lot of red tape connected with that depart ¬ ment Cal Layton is in charge of that de parment at Detroit and for weeks before the opening he and several assistants are busily engaged in arranging the tickets and box seat reservations Layton employs 200 men in his departments and he schools all new employes for several days before the opening Courtesy must be the watchword says Layton and only on few occasions have I been called upon to reprimand or discharge an employe for being disrespectful to a patron
