CASSIDY PIMLICO STEWARD LAUREL Md Oct 21 Marshall Cassidy steward representing the New York Racing Commission on all tracks in the Empire State and who also serves as assistant to the president of the Miami Jockey Club has been appointed to succeed Alfred G Weston in the stewards stand during the thirteen day autumn meeting of the Maryland Jackey Club He will serve along with William L Harron representing the Mary ¬ land Racing Commission and George Brown Jr The post will be the second held in Maryland as Cassidy also serves in a sim ¬ ilar position for the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association at Bowie Mr Wes ¬ ton whose place Cassidy is taking retired as a racing official during the term of rac ¬ ing at Timonium Md
