BUNDESEN WARNS PARENTS Dr Herman N Bundesen president of the Chicago Board of Health has issued a warn ¬ ing to parents to take special precautions in guarding their children against scarlet fever and whooping cough The season for scarlet fever is just before us and Bundesen point ¬ ed out that more deaths and cases in this disease occurred in September of this year than in the same month in 1937 and 1936 There have been 6200 whooping cough cases already reported this year more than the previous high for any single year
