INDICTMENT IN TAMPERING CASE AT HAWTHORNE Indictments were returned Friday by the Cook County Grand Jury against Sebastian DeVito of Brooklyn John Williams of Lex ¬ ington Ky Nathan E White of New Or ¬ leans and Henry E Robinson the latter three negroes on charges of attempting to tamper with the horse Imperial Scout owned by the Lexbrook Stables during the recent meetingThe Hawthorne meeting The four men still are in custody in the County Jail in lieu of 5000 bond which was fixed for each of the defendants They are to face trial next week in Criminal Court and each is liable to a 1000 fine and a year in jail
