FOOTBALL INNOVATION The University of Detroit and Santa Clara will meet at Sacramento Calif on November 27 and an innovation will be tried in that a touchdown will count seven points elim ¬ inating the one point for a kicked goal The idea comes from Gus Dorais head coach of the Detroit team who believes this method will do away with so many tie games Dorais would settle tie scores by ruling the team which makes the most yardage from scrimmage the winner
