FAVOR NEW LABOR LAW WASHINGTON D C Oct 24 Admin ¬ istrator Elmer F Andrews of the Fair La ¬ bor Standards Act revealed that he had received telegrams from governors of seven states offering cooperation and support in enforcing the act which went into effect today The governors stated they are in favor of the principles of the act and will give all assistance of state labor depart ¬ ments in aiding the wage and hour division in enforcement Those who replied include Governor Bibb Graves of Alabama Gov ¬ ernor Nelson G Kraschel of Iowa Governor Hugh White of Mississippi and Governor Allred of Texas and D M Ellison secre ¬ tary for Governor Leche of Louisiana in the absence of the governor offered support of the act Gov Henry B Blood of Utah and Governor Richard Kirmin of Nevada also offered cooperation
