MINEY MYERSON made the pace without need of strong pressure, drew out when roused entering the stretch and tired near the end. ONE NIGHT, never far back and lightly restrained for about three-eighths, responded to pressure thereafter and closed well. DEDICATION, slow to "begin and outrun for a half mile, made up ground thereafter. OUR DAVID forced the pace under occasional rousing, hold on well to the last eighth and then quit. SPORT HEEL saved ground, snowed good speed for ive-cighths, then tired badly. GLOWSET was in close quarters going into the turn. LOSTAGAL, raced wide throughout, moved up fast after a quarter, forged to the front with a rush approaching the last eighth and won with something left. UPSY, well up and in hand for three-eighths, saved ground and closed well, but was no match for the winner. TONY STEEL, never far away and hustled along from the beginning, held on fairly well in the drive. BRILLIANT ONE, outrun for a half mile, made up ground thereafter under vigorous handling. DOUBLE WHISK had good speed from the beginning, , bore out badly on the turn, held on well to the last eighth and then tired. KOSSE was in close quarters soon after the start and never seriously threatened. SHELBY KING quit after showing good speed for a -half mile. LUCKY CHILD, also outrun for a half mile, closed boldly thereafter under strong pressure. JOHN WERRING held his I position for a half mile without need of strong pressure, drew out after reaching the stretch, then tired in j the last sixteenth. HERMOSILLO rallied after three-eighths and closed well. CATSWEEP tired in the last quarter. CELTIC LEGEND gave way suddenly after showing good speed to the last eighth. PAR-f. SAILORMAN, never far back and under snug restraint for three-quarters, rallied when shaken up thereafter and, getting to the front an eighth out, drew out and won with something left. PRINCE CLOUD held his position without need of strong pressure, drew out after five-eighths, readily gave way to the winner and held on well. HOOK IT, in close quarters soon after the start, began to. improve her position after three-eighths and closed well. MARGARET NADI had good speed from, the beginning, was hard ridden after five-eighths and tired. BUILDING TRADES bore over badly at the start, had good speed for three-quarters and tired. BETTER FORGET saved ground and had no mishaps. JANE W. was taken back on the far turn, recovered quickly and improved her position slightly thereafter. PAKALA, away slowly and taken back repeatedly, moved up strongly in the stretch, then tired suddenly. COMPUTER, weakly handled, tired in the final eighth. SUN WAY had brief early speed. WAXWING, going in his best form and under strong handling, forced the early pace, assumed a clear lead in the final quarter, but had to be roused in the late stages to withstand MISS DOLPHIN. The latter broke tardily, lost much ground while working her way up and finished strongly under vigorous urging. MIXWELL raced well up all the way and was on the inside throughout, but faltered in the drive. LUCKY DUCKY was prominent to the final eighth, where she suddenly tired under pressure.
