SUN VOTER, showing good ability in the footing, was a stout factor in the early running, raced to the front on the turn out of the back stretch, was ridden stoutly and came away smartly. GOLDEN KEY, prominent all the way, made strong efforts in the first half mile, then tired. JIMMY S. raced wide to improve his position. CHOICE GOODS lacked early speed and failed to threaten, although closing with good courage. LEAH FERN tired after going three-eighths. CRUSAND was caught in tight quarters after the break and vyas pinched back. BURSTING showed a brief flash of early speed. CUSTER trailed throughout. ANN MOWLEE, under steadying restraint while going closest to the pacemaker, raced to the front without effort on the final turn, continued stoutly while in hand and opened up a wide lead. FERNBRAKE moved into a clear lead early, was steadied until challenged and was no match for the winner when caught. LAND OF SMILES lost ground while racing in the first flight and outfinished ODDESA ROMEO in the stretch drive. The latter raced well placed from the beginning and savdd ground, but was handled weakly nearing the end. JUDGES BID failed to better his position while losing ground. GOLDUN could not untrack himself. CHARMING MARY was badly outrun. AIR EDDY lost his rider on the first turn. BROOKE HEROD, rated back of the leaders after gaining a forward position, raced through on the inside to displace BORO POKER, drew into a clear lead and came away gradually under urging. BORO POKER broke fast to take the lead, stumbled repeatedly in the footing and tired when caught. MY BLONDE, lacking early speed, gained stoutly when in full stride and closed with good courage. SHAGGY ANN was rushed hard to engage the pacemaker and made strong bids early, but tired as if short. MISS ADELE broke slowly and was never dangerous. PARRISH ROACH raced evenly. BUNGALOW had no excuses. CROSSING OVER was taken extremely wide and did not fancy the footing. BIG BUD was handled strongly and showed a good effort. CALEB raced closest to the winner for five-eighths, then tired. DEODO and SCHLEY PRINTZ were badly outrun. GOODWINE sprawled and lost her footing in the back stretch and was pulled up. The latter, a slow beginner, improved his position on the outside and finished determinedly under punishment. SURPRISE BOX went in his best form, raced forwardly and held on willingly to the end. MATTAPONY was displaced midway of the back stretch, then tired gradually. MY SURPRISE failed to enter contention under a strong ride. FRANK BROOKE raced strongly for three-quarters, then tired.
