NARRAGANSETT STOCKHOLDERS TO HOLD ANNUAL MEETING MEETINGPAWTUCKET PAWTUCKET R I June 3 That affairs at Narragansett Park are running as smoothly as a welloiled machine is indi ¬ cated by the fact that no change in the cur ¬ rent list of corporation officers is anticipated nor expected when the stockholders convene at the track clubhouse at 10 oclock on the morning of June 16 for their annual meet ¬ ing The meeting has three specific ob ¬ jectives To elect a slate of corporation officers for the coming year to elect three directors each for a period of three years to act upon an amendment to the corpora ¬ tion bylaws to increase the number of directors from nine to ten and to transact any other such business as may properly come before the meeting meetingHeading Heading the slate presented by the current management will be judge James E Dooley who seeks reelection as president James H Connors as chairman of the board of di ¬ rectors Albert H Daly as vicepresident Raymond J McMahon as secretary and gen ¬ eral counsel Ernest H Davison as treas ¬ urer and Michael J Regan as assistant treasurer Seeking reelection as directors are Albert H Daly John J Orr and John F Letendre LetendreAccording According to the financial statement just mailed to all stockholders Gansetts spring meeting was one of the most successful in the tracks history and continued good busi ¬ ness is expected at the autumn meeting which opens August 11 and continues through to September 27
